Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy for the nation’s third largest not-for-profit health system, which serves 513,000 members and 82,000 caregivers through a complex network of 150 websites, web applications, and mobile applications.

The Road Map

  • Audit and inventory every analytics instance in the system, including all accounts, views, filters, goals, and events across more than 215 domains
  • Develop system-wide analytics strategy, identifying and mapping Providence’s business objectives to key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop platform-agnostic global analytics plan to track, measure, and report KPIs
  • Develop integrated tagging specifications and implementation plans to ensure KPIs could be tracked and measured on both a site-specific and system-wide basis

The Results

  • Accurate, actionable analytics data that is routinely used to answer key business questions on a site-specific and system-wide basis
  • Clear understanding of traffic attribution, visitor flow, engagement, and conversion behavior throughout the Providence ecosystem of websites, web apps, and mobile apps
