Generosity Day began at Wheelhouse with a single guiding principal – to make sure that we provide the greatest help we can directly to people who need it. We accomplish this by organizing into teams and empowering those teams to decide upon the people and groups in which we want to invest our time and the budget provided by Wheelhouse.

On August 3, a group of women from Wheelhouse attended a panel discussion hosted by ChickTech and New York Code + Design Academy Seattle (NYCDA).

When I accepted my job at Wheelhouse in December, I learned early on that generosity was an important pillar on which the company was built. I have witnessed this value in action routinely throughout my time here—it’s not just a word in the company handbook to be glossed over and ignored.
